The Annie Rose Ltd Rental Studio facility consists of a
state-of-the-art, 12-station table.
All you need: Each station is equipped with a Carlisle Mini CC torch, annealing kilns and access to a basic tool set ranging from mandrels to safety glasses. The entire table features exhaust ventilation and fresh air replacement so you can work in safety and comfort. Stations are available to lampworkers at the following rate:
Cost: NZ$20 per hour/person (2 hour minimum charge) includes tools, kiln, torch. Glass and additional materials can be brought in or bought at our adjacent retail shop.
Lunch room: Lampworkers and Studio users are welcome to use the lunch room facility that is available. We also have a resource library that has books, magazines, DVDs and helpful articles along with a TV/DVD player to watch instructional DVDs.
Some of the literature available includes: Books on Glass Beads, PMC, Beading, Jewellery, Magazines, ISGB mailings, Helpful Hints, Glass Society mailings and a Postcard Collection of Glass Bead Artists.
Location: 10 minute walk to Whangarei’s CBD and the Town Basin, an attractive harbour front setting with cafes, restaurants and galleries.
